Session Information:
The WPBA Girls Only Clinic is designed for new players to the game and current participants within our programs or domestic competition. The 1-hour clinic will focus on developing and refining FUNdamental skills including ball handling, shooting, passing and defence, through a range of games and activities. Whether learning basics or continuing to develop existing skills, participants will work with coaches to grow their confidence, improve their skills and enjoy their basketball journey alongside other girls all while having fun.

Rep Prep Clinic

Who’s the program for: Athletes who will be attending the Main VJBL Steelers Tryouts
Cost: $60
Session Information:
The WPBA Rep Prep Clinic is designed for U12/14 players who have been invited to attend the main Steelers VJBL Tryouts. Across two 1.5-hour sessions, participants will focus on developing and refining key fundamental skills that will be assessed throughout the tryout process, including ball handling, passing, shooting, footwork and defence. Sessions will also place a strong emphasis on game play, allowing players to apply their skills in competitive situations while receiving immediate feedback from coaches to support their development. The clinic aims to build confidence, sharpen fundamental skills and prepare participants for the demands of the VJBL Tryouts while supporting their ongoing development as basketball players.

The WPBA Domestic Skills Clinic is designed for 8–12-year-old domestic players looking to continue their basketball development and build confidence in their skills. Across two 1.5-hour sessions, participants will focus on developing and refining fundamental skills including ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork and defence through a range of engaging skill-development games and activities. Participants will also take part in small-sided games, providing opportunities to apply their skills in game-like situations while receiving feedback from coaches to support their individual development. The clinic provides a fun and supportive environment for domestic players to strengthen their skills, build confidence and continue enjoying their basketball journey.

Who’s the program for: Domestic players looking to develop and improve their shooting skills.

Session Information:
The WPBA Domestic Shooting Clinic is designed for 8–12-year-old domestic players looking to develop and improve their shooting skills. The 1.5-hour clinic will focus on key shooting fundamentals including shooting technique, footwork, balance, shot preparation and finishing through a range of engaging skill-development games and activities. Participants will have opportunities to develop their shooting through repetition-based activities before applying their skills in small-sided and game-like situations, with coaches providing feedback to support individual improvement. The clinic provides a fun and supportive environment for domestic players to build confidence, develop their shooting ability and continue progressing in their basketball journey.
