WPBA DEVELOPMENT: Steeler comes up ROSEs in BV FDP
Our own Rose Grigor from this season’s U14.2s has been selected by Basketball Victoria as part of the 2024/2025 U14 Future Development Program.
After several trials and much debate the squads for the Metro Future Development Program (FDP) for the under 14 age group were locked and announced recently.
The Future Development Program aims to expose coaches and players to the training habits, individual skill development, and age and stage appropriate team offensive and defensive concepts that underpin athlete development.
Coach of the U14.2s this season, Warren Heigh, was excited by the news when chatting with us but kept things on the QT until the official announcements were made.
