On the
back of terrific numbers for our try outs Western Port Steelers are pleased to announce selected squads for the 2023-24 Victorian Junior Basketball League season.
To accept your spot in the program please register via the Play HQ link below, a payment of $50 will be required at the time of registration which will be credited to your fees come the time of invoicing.
Training will begin for all teams on October 22ND with times to be confirmed via email in the coming days.
Uniform sizing can be done at Somerville Recreation Centre on the October 22nd from 10am – 12pm for all new and existing players. All orders will need to be placed on line, again further information will be emailed out in the next 48 hours. Players who do not place orders by Monday October 23rd risk not having a uniform for their first game.
We will be holding practice games on the below dates.
- Steelers vs Southern Peninsula November 3rd, games will be scheduled at Somerville & Dromana, times TBA
- Your coach may also enter the Southern Peninsula tournament on November 10th & 11th
These are just initial squads, player movement can still happen until we return in 2024 for Grading Phase 2
