For almost four and half years Naomi Notman has been a part of our administration team but a family move to Cairns means she will be leaving us, come years end.
Naomi has been involved across all aspects of the association in her time from completing referee rosters, school clinics and domestic fixtures. However she will leave a lasting legacy with her efforts in the health and wellbeing space providing opportunities for our members to learn and be better people, she created the partnership we have with Thrive and we cant forget her time spent with our All Abilities program on a Thursday evening and away at tournaments.
“Only being here a short time as GM one of the first things I learnt was how important Naomi is to Western Port Basketball, not just with the amount of work she does but how loved she is and respected by everyone who walks through the doors each day.
Naomi really has such a warm aura about her and to see so many people go to her for advice or just to vent was amazing but to see how she respected everyone was even more impressive.
I know everyone wishes her and her family nothing but the utmost best in their new life up North and it certainly is Cairns’s gain and Western Port’s loss, filling her shoes will be massive and we will surely attempt to but replacing part of the furniture is always difficult, good luck Naomi and the whole Notman family.” – GM Peter Caspersz
From everyone at WPBA we wish Naomi, Bryce and the kids all the best with their move and hope to see you at a game or two when your down.
